Our ecologists mapped the significant natural features within the study area, identified potential constraints and analyzed proposed alternatives.

Aboud & Associates was retained by Triton Engineering Services Limited (Triton) on behalf of the Township of Southgate to complete the natural heritage evaluation of a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA). The EA is being completed in order to determine the feasibility and best alignment alternative for a proposed Industrial Access Road, and a proposed expansion of the wastewater treatment facility. The natural heritage studies of the EA characterized and mapped the significant natural features within the study area, identified potential constraints and analyzed proposed alternatives. These findings were considered as part of the Analysis of Alternatives. Aboud & Associates continue to support Triton engineering through detailed design, including Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and Conservation Authority consultation, wildlife mitigation plans and fish salvage and relocation plans.
