As Partner and Landscape Architecture Lead at Aboud & Associates, Marc is a strategic and technically rigorous designer committed to delivering resilient, ecologically grounded landscapes. With over 25 years of professional experience, he is engaged in projects across Ontario, and recently in Atlantic Canada, integrating design excellence with practical, buildable solutions.

A versatile generalist, Marc coordinates complex multidisciplinary teams while also contributing specialized landscape architectural expertise when engaged as a subconsultant within broader consultant groups. He is equally adept at shaping vision at the master planning scale and resolving technical detailing in the field. Early experience in landscape construction and the public sector informs his work, providing a grounded understanding of implementation, municipal process, and long-term stewardship. This breadth of perspective strengthens his ability to move projects from concept through construction with clarity, discipline, and technical precision.

His portfolio spans institutional master planning, public realm renewal, ecological infrastructure, and active recreation design. Notable projects include the Shoreham Public Sports and Wellness Academy Master Plan, the Port Burwell Bioswale, and the Eastview Bike Skills Park and Pump Track, along with more than 30 park revitalization projects throughout Guelph and Kitchener. Across these initiatives, he has contributed to long-term, multi-phase efforts that balance heritage context, environmental performance, and community expectations, reflecting a commitment to both design quality and enduring function.

Marc is a registered member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA), a member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architecture (CSLA), and a member of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects (APALA). He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and contributes actively to the profession as an advisor within the OALA Professional Development Program and as a regular contributor to the University of Guelph’s School of Environmental Design and Rural Development. Through mentorship, guest critiques, and professional guidance, he supports emerging practitioners and advances the role of landscape architecture in contemporary development.
